How the measurement engine works

You can't improve what you can't see.

We'll install one quiet layer that follows every lead — from the ad click to the booked job to the paid invoice — and shows you which channels actually make money. It sits alongside your CRM and your crew. It never replaces them.

What you're really deciding

Start small. Prove it. Then decide.

  • The smallest first step

Start with one layer — the measurement engine — inside the Revenue Ignition bundle. Prove it on your own numbers before you commit to anything more.

  • Week one is an audit

We map how leads flow across every channel you run today — paid, organic, referral, repeat. If you are already covered, we will be the first to tell you.

  • You own it from day one

Your Cloudflare account, your database, your code. Forever. Cancel the retainer and you keep the engine running — nothing held hostage.

  • Rather learn it yourself first?

All-Access opens the same playbooks we ship — from $30/mo. Browse the free kits first, no card.

This is the next chapter of what already works — not a disruption of it. See how engagements are structured →

First, the ground it runs on

Built on the network the internet runs on.

Before the how — the engine runs on Cloudflare. It is one of the companies the internet itself runs on: publicly traded, spanning 330+ cities across 125+ countries, reaching about 95% of the world's internet users in under 50 milliseconds. Roughly a fifth of all websites already run through it.

We don't ask you to adopt a boutique tool. We build your engine on the same blue-chip network the largest companies already trust — right next to your customers, on infrastructure you never have to build or babysit.

Network figures: Cloudflare.

The engine, in layers

Climb as high as you want.

Start at Level 1. Stop when it clicks. Every level is the same truth — just more detail.

Level 1 · The analogy

Think of it as a trusted clerk we station at the front door of your website — on the same global network that delivers much of the internet. Every time something real happens — a form filled, a call booked, a quote requested — the clerk writes it in your private ledger and hands a sealed, verified note to Google or Meta. Milliseconds, worldwide, never off duty.

  • Level 2 · What it actually does

It runs on Cloudflare's edge — their servers in hundreds of cities — not in the visitor's browser, and not on a server you have to maintain. The moment someone arrives from an ad, it captures that ad's click.

On a real action — a quote request, a booking — it writes the event to your own database and sends a server-to-server confirmation to each ad platform. Because it is server-to-server, ad-blockers and iPhone privacy settings can't strip it.

When the deal is later marked won in your CRM, that outcome goes back the same way — so the platforms learn from revenue, not just form-fills.

  • Level 3 · The data path

For a technical buyer — the full path, end to end.

    1. A visitor clicks an ad — the link carries each platform's click ID (Google gclid, Microsoft msclkid, Meta fbclid) plus campaign tags.
    2. A lightweight first-party script reads those, plus the visitor's consent choice (Consent Mode v2).
    3. The Worker, at the edge, stamps a first-party ID and writes the raw event to your Cloudflare D1 database — time, source, campaign, click ID, page, consent flags. API tokens live in Cloudflare's secure vault, never in the browser.
    4. On a conversion it fires server-to-server to Google (Enhanced Conversions), Meta (CAPI), and Microsoft — hashing any personal data with SHA-256 before it leaves, and tagging a shared event ID so the platforms don't double-count.
    5. When the opportunity is marked won in the CRM, the Worker sends that outcome — with its original click ID and value — back to each platform. That closes the loop.
    6. D1 stays the permanent, queryable record (channel × cost × pipeline × outcome) behind your dashboard.
  • Level 4 · Architect answers
Will it slow our site down?
No. It runs at the edge, alongside the page — not inside it. Zero added page-load time.
Where does our data live, and who sees it?
Your Cloudflare account, your database. We operate it; we do not hold it. You can query or wipe it anytime.
    Is it privacy-safe?
Consent is respected before anything fires, and personal data is hashed before it ever leaves your edge. Built to pass a review — GDPR and CCPA-ready — not to dodge one.
How is this different from a tag manager?
Same family. Ours also owns the database and the won-deal loop — not just a tag relay.
What if Cloudflare or an ad platform is down?
The event is written to your database first, then sent out with retries. Nothing is lost.
Do you keep access to our ad accounts forever?
No. The tokens sit in your vault and you can revoke them. The code — a compact, purpose-built program — is yours on acceptance.

“We'd feed your CRM, not replace it.”
Objections, answered

The hard questions, answered straight.

  • We already run a CRM — HubSpot, Salesforce, AccuLynx. Doesn’t it already do this?

Your CRM is your system of record, and we would not touch it — we would feed it. The real question is whether the path from an anonymous ad click, to a closed job, and back out to Google and Meta automatically, is actually running today. That path lives upstream and downstream of the CRM — a pipeline someone maintains, not a setting you switch on. Week one tells you exactly which parts are live.

  • Why not just use our CRM data?

Your CRM keeps the customer beautifully. What it cannot hold is the advertising trail that produced them — which click, which campaign — or feed your won jobs back out to the ad platforms. The engine adds exactly that, alongside the CRM.

  • What do we actually have to change?

Operationally, nothing. Your team and your crew work exactly as they do today. The layer runs alongside and reports — it changes what you can see, not how you work.

  • Our competitors don’t bother — why should we?

That is the reason to do it. An edge only works while it is rare. Most shops run the same browser-based measurement everyone rents from the platforms. The first to measure at engineering grade reads the board in high resolution while everyone else squints at a blurred copy — and compounds that lead for years.

  • What if we stop after the first engagement?

You keep the system, the code, and the data outright — yours from day one. No lock-in, nothing held hostage. The retainer is a choice you make after you have seen results, not a condition of starting.

  • Is this privacy-safe?

Yes. It is built on first-party data, consent is respected before anything fires, and your customer data never leaves your control layer. It is designed to pass a compliance review — GDPR and CCPA-ready — not to dodge one. Done right, privacy is the advantage: this keeps working as third-party cookies disappear.

  • How do we know it’ll work for us?

The first week is a full audit of your actual channels and numbers. You get a board-ready picture either way. If it shows you are already covered, we will say so — the audit is built to give you certainty before you commit to anything ongoing.

  • Plainly — how does this make us more money?

Three direct lines. You stop spending on ads that never produced a customer. The platforms learn from your real won jobs and find more buyers like them, so your best channels get cheaper. And you finally know which proven channels — referrals, repeat work, paid — earn their keep, so you pour more into the winners. More qualified leads, lower cost to win each, and a record that makes next year easier than this one.
